Can really feel the muscles in my butt and legs being worked! I’m doing it every other day and am up to 3 miles a hike as of today.
I’ve been wearing an 11-lb weighted vest for several years on a daily 5K walk in my suburban neighborhood, which is slightly hilly, and occasionally in the nearby county park trails. I knew it was time to level up so I went into the market for a Ruck. An elite athlete whom I admire was raving about the Wild Gym ruck on Instagram and I reached out to learn more from her. Her opinion was all I needed and I went all in on the 20-lb Feather Ruck Bundle. It took a couple of days to get used to the new weight and to adjust to the more technical aspects of the gear, ie, straps, buckles, water, and phone accessories, but once I did, I was literally up and running…well, mostly walking, but I do plan to run in it and compete in Spartan DEKA Ruck events next year. I love my Ruck and highly recommend it!
Chose this ruck after reading reviews and it being perfect for my needs. Love all the pockets for its size as well as the hip belt. So far, after 3 rucks, it's great. I love the well thought out features and the comfort. The only thing you want to Be mindful of is not all of the branded ruck weight plates fit in the pocket so just size your purchases accordingly.
Love the slim design that does not over power my petite build. So having the ability to carry 20 pounds while not looking like I am overloaded is great!
Waited to review because honestly I didn’t really like it at first… hard on back, phone and water holders awkward and it took a bit to really dial it in
After several weeks I think I have it set. The shoulders are much more comfortable than the regular ruck, it still has some hard areas on back and while I’m more used to the phone and water holder they aren’t my favorite. I do however use the feather ruck most. Thank you … it really has helped my strength and weight. The very best and natural form of exercise !!

How much weight can the Feather Ruck hold?
The Feather Ruck has one built-in plate pocket that can hold one of our 10, 20, or 30 pound weight plate.
There is an optional Booster Pack accessory that clips onto the Feather Ruck and can hold an additional 10, 20, or 30 pound weight plate.
So with the Booster Pack, the Feather Ruck can hold up to 60lbs total (2 x 30lbs plates).
Is there space for a Hydration Reservoir?
Yes! We sourced a special Hydration Reservoir that fits perfectly in the Kangaroo Pouch. We also also special webbing loops that guide the Hydration Reservoir Hose.
The 1.5L Hydration reservoir is sold separately. Look under the "Feather Ruck Accessories" on this page.
What size weight plates fit in the Feather Ruck and Booster Pack?
Both the Feather Ruck and Booster Pack will holds plates with dimensions 9" x 12" x 1.5".
What size waist does it fit?
SM: 26-55 inches
LXL: 26-60 inches
Will the Feather Ruck have holders for my phone and/or water bottles?
Yes! There is a removable Phone Holder Pocket Accessory and removable Accessory Pocket that will hold our 500mL water bottle.

Are the Feather Ruck shoulder straps different from the Original Ruck?
Yes. The Feather Ruck has a single sternum strap and our FlexFit™ Shoulder Straps are designed to fit more bodies more comfortably.
The Feather Ruck Shoulder Straps have a reduced width for more shoulder comfort and mobility.
Are there clip-in loops for Ruck slings?
Yes! There are webbing loops specifically designed as a clip-in point for Ruck Slings. They are at the top of the Feather Ruck near where the shoulder strap attaches to the main body of the Ruck.
