The Ruck Pack is everything it was advertised as. Comfortable fit. Plenty of easy to get to pockets for convenience.
For the longer time since owning my Feather Ruck I used a Camelback water bottle. Carried it in the accessory pocket attached to the right side shoulder strap. But is was always in my way, although it did make a good place to hang my cap when I took it off😁. Purchased the lumbar water bladder and once installed it makes for the perfect hydration source . Non-intrusive. The Feather Ruck has plenty of looks and allows the hydration drinking tube to be run up and over the right shoulder strap and landed in the perfect place. The only complaint I have, and it’s not terrible or a deal breaker, is the water flow. You really have to suck on the bite piece to get water flowing consistently. But is does work and is a better source for hydration than a bulky bottle.
My husband and I are both in our 70's and bought these packs as an addition to our exercise program. We got the Everyday Ruck for its versatility, padding everywhere(!) and the cleverly adjustable straps. After trying the Everyday Ruck for a week, we are very happy with our choice. It would be a good addition if there were reflectors on the rucks, like velcro strips to put on when in need.
Seemed a little expensive at first but I bit the bullet and I am glad I did. The straps are very well made and fit perfectly to top of pack attachment areas and for my shoulder perfectly upon moving out. As I went into Ruck shuffle I was able to keep comfortable stable pull while moving with out any distress to hands, arms or shoulders. My third time out with feather Ruck and felt great. 6.17 miles 81 mins. 58 yr. old, 5'8" 185 lbs. Very Pleased.
I've used my new Feather Ruck twice now. Had to make some fit adjustments between Rucks but can say I'm loving it more than the weighted vest I wore previously. I highly recommend it!

After a month of use, I can honestly say I’m very happy with my Feather Ruck. It’s comfortable, well designed, looks great, and has become an important part of my walking and fitness routine.

The feather rock is great. It does an excellent job of putting the weight on my hips. I attached a water bottle carrier to the front strap which is perfect The plentiful attachment points allows for some customization without making it heavy with too many or too large pockets. I’m thinking about a pouch later for carrying a windbreaker or warm layer come Fall. The lumbar support is deep but firm enough to hold up to added weight. I thought initially that I would have liked a bit more flex in the shoulders but it holds the weighted plate exactly where it needs to be. It is a very solidly built piece of kit and I think it will hold up to my abuse for quite some time. I’m looking forward to putting more miles on it!
It fits perfectly in my featherweight and I love the ease it takes in both filling but more importantly, the cleaning , i prefer it over the camelback with screw top.

Perfect way to train for heavy backpacking without actually carrying a bulky backpack . Super comfort. However, The small pocket strap in the back doesn't stay tight for long. Other than that, its an excellent rucking pack. I like that the shoulder harness is just that, a harness with the option to add bottle or a phone holder.
Just purchased 30 pound weight plate along with ruck slings to go with my feather ruck. Wild gym gear is one of my best investments this past year. Keep up the great work
My wife and I both have a ruck and love them! It's been a game changer for hiking and walks in the neighborhood. I have noticed increased strength and stamina since adding this to my longer treks in the woods, along with my regular strength training. Our endurance has increased and she is having less low back pain since incorporating this into her weekly walks. My only suggestion is to make one slight smaller for small frame people. I have the waist band tightened all the way and sides hiked up all the way and it's still a bit big on me. Some men are smaller framed and could use one that fits more optimally but I make it work and haven't had an issues from it. Thanks for creating such an awesome product!
I cannot say enough good. The fit is spot on! The ability to dial in the fit is awesome and after playing with it for a little bit I would imagine almost anyone could dial it in specifically to their needs. Comfortable. The weight rides where it should. Appears to be indestructible. The water bottle holder I thought would get in the way, nope. In fact it holds a Podium bottle (Best cycling/workout bottle made) as if it was made for it and holds it in a perfect spot. The phone holder fits my large iPhone with ease. Again, like it was made for it. My keys fit in there as well, and the outer sleeve on the phone case holds a pair of reading glasses perfectly! Don't laugh, if you are not wearing them now you will be. The zippered pockets on the waist strap holds gel, bars, wallet, whatever you wanna put there. The added accessory for the more weight is very nice and attaches snug to the rest of the pack. The load lifters...as Dan says, this is where the magic happens...wow! I had several choices to pick from and I went with Wild Gym and the Feather Ruck. Best one I could have picked. The thing is flat out amazing. If you are on the fence about buying it just get down and buy it. You will not be disappointed. If mine was stolen today I would place an order for another as soon as I could get to my computer. I used it for the first time on a 14 mile ruck this past Sunday with 29lbs. Very comfortable as it kept weight on my hips and not shoulders. Even during steep inclines with rocks and roots it stayed in place. Highly recommend.
I received my Everyday Ruck Bundle and it is great so far. I love the comfort and adjustability of the straps. It is incredibly sturdy and well made. I've loaded it up with 45 lbs already and it holds the weight securely and close to the body so it feels lighter than when the same weight was in my other backpack. Looking forward to many years of use!
I bought both, but this one is all I need. The adjustments are easy to make even while you are rucking. There is enough pockets and space to hold keys, wallet, food and whatever else. My 3 liter water bag fits perfectly. I’ve been doing 12 miles without any shoulder or back pain. If you’re on the fence between the feather and everyday ruck, just get this one. It’s been fine tuned so you can focus on your workout.
I’ve had a bunch of weight vests and other weighted packs over the years and hands down this one is the best.
Recovering from shoulder surgery, I need the best pack to take weigh off my shoulders. This pack is ideal. Very sturdy and will allow building up weight to carry.
This ruck sack is very comfortable and by using the hip belt it makes my ruck seem effortless! I especially like the aluminum frame incorporated into the ruck sack and the contour of the sack where it contacts my back! There’s no constant chafing to my back and that makes for a great ruck! All the different pockets are handy and time will tell how everything holds together! I love mine so much that I ordered one for my wife! Bravo, Wild Gym!
Since receiving my Feather Ruck I have started a routine of rucking 3 times a week. I look forward to seeing my results over time.
I looked around at the bigger brands and no-one seemed to have the versatility and right fit for what I was looking for. Love that the Feather Ruck Starter Kit has a spot for my CamelBak and a different spot for the weight. Great build quality.
I've had the other brand for a year which is great, but this one is definitely more comfortable.
