Ruck Weights

Pretty simple review. Pack is great, the frame is awesome, the hip belt and chest straps are great. The padding is epic. When I throw the pack on I can tell it’s there and I’ve added weight but it just feels like it becomes a part of me and everything is distributed nicely. So instead of feeling like all the weight is on my back and shoulders. I feel like my whole body just got heavier but it’s not an inconvenience.

Bottom line: Love it

I have one of the original Wild Gym Ruck Backpacks and didn't think it could get any better. Guess what the new one is just as good. Now I have two Wild Gym Rucks and have each one set up with different weights.

I've been walking for a while now...topped out on my speed, but trying not to run. It was time to up my game. I knew I didn't want a weighted vest with all of the weight on my shoulders (from my backpacking days in younger years), so I gave the feather ruck a try, starting with the 10-lb weight. It's just what I was looking for...making my body work a little harder on my daily walks, but not overly burdensome. The pack is easily adjustable to fit my frame, placing most of the added weight on my hips (not my shoulders). Thanks for making a great product!

Having purchased the original ruck, using it for 9 months, I was ok with it. Took some tweaking at times during walks to increase the comfort. I decided to buy the Feather Ruck based on features, and the overall design. So happy with the purchase. I’ve used it twice since receiving it and with 20 lbs, I was able to adjust this so there’s very little weight on my traps. I will be buying another as my wife says she wants to start rucking as well.

Got this for the booster pack on the feather ruck. Fits well as expected, also quite useful for rows or other exercises outside of the ruck. Very pleased!

Everyday Ruck

I was using a different brand of ruck and always had chafing on my arms and the hip belt never sat in the right place. The Wild Gym ruck fixed all of that! Super comfortable, great hip belt and pockets on the straps - all excellent and well thought out. Love everything about it.

Love my everyday ruck! I had destroyed my north face backpack while rucking 50lbs. First time out, and easily handled 50lbs over a two hour/4.5 mile hike. Can’t wait to keep pushing, knowing my ruck won’t give up on me.

Ruck(sacks) were designed for soldiers to use, able to throw their packs off quickly. But for those of us, especially older folks, who walk for exercise & to help build bone & muscle, we don't need the weight on our shoulders, but on our hips-just like backpacking packs. Cleverly adjustable in all aspects, the pack designers at Kelty, Sierra Designs, etc. would be proud. I bought it first, my wife tried it, then we bought one for her. P.S. this may be the only ruck designed with the correct hip belt & adjustments that fine tune the fit.

Love these Bungees!
I utilize the "heavier" bungees with my isocoreX set up, gives me a much broader range of strengths for shoulder presses, bicep curls, chest flys, etc.
Simply put, I love the versatility and range that these bungees allow!

I bought this Ruck to hopefully solve the problem of my sore shoulders as I add weight onto my Ruck Pack. It definitely alleviates the shoulder pain and the added bonus of good weight distribution of the plate causes my glutes to activate properly. Looking forward to many Ruck adventures with my new pack.

I took some time to write this review because i wanted to try the bag out first.
the bag is great, i have the 30 lb plate in it and its great. I have used other bags with various weight in it and i can say that this bag is extremely comfortable. The weight does not slide around like other bags. I dont have to worry about the bag ripping or tearing because of the aluminum frame support.
I use this bag primarily when i walk the dogs and it is great.
The adjustments on the bottom of the straps are genius, giving adjustability while having weight in the bag. Very easy to adjust, very comfortable, i would buy again. great bag

Hey Ruckers of the world, I seen this bag online like 6 months ago(original Ruck)and thought there has to be better Rucks out there and closer to me(I live in the UK) so I studied a few and used a lot that my friends had but I though the wild gym bag has a lot of features that most of them don’t have. So I made the decision to order it and by emailing over and back to a lovely staff member called Kim who sorted out all the shipping I now have it. You guys(wild Gym) never left out a single detail I mean there is nothing I can’t do with it you thought of everything.You put the pleasure back into walking/hiking for me again.You deserve the praise. Keep up the effort and thank you Kim for your efforts.
