monkii Skills for Better Pullups
"We need the tonic of wildness...At the same time that we are earnest to explore and learn all things, we require that all things be mysterious and unexplorable, that land and sea be indefinitely wild, unsurveyed and unfathomed by us because unfathomable. We can never have enough of nature."
-Henry David Thoreau

The Specs:
Hinged Row : Start with 3 sets of 1-5 reps and then working your way up to 5 sets of 5 reps

I have spent a significant amount of time scouring the literature, as well as the web, for exercises that give monkiis the opportunity to be wilder. I cannot remember exactly where I came across this specific exercise, but it is an absolute gem and I am excited to be sharing the 'Row + Hinge-Row' with monkiis across the globe. This is a fantastic (and challenging) exercise to train your upper body pulling power. In addition, I believe that this is one of the best exercises to bridge the gap between assisted and non-assisted Pullups. If you have been struggling to get your first Pullup, or increase the number of Pullups that you can do, start to incorporate this exercise into your training 2-3 times per week. It's important to note that this is a skill/strength exercise and that it is imperative to give yourself enough time in between sets to recover fully. This allows you to perform the movement perfectly and train an optimal movement pattern. Grease the monkii-groove, stay consistent, and you will see what kind of monkii you can become.
