Ruck Weights

Been out with it 4 times with 25, then 30 pounds. Comfortable and distributed weight well. I am a backpacker and love it for prep/training. One suggestion: This pack would be 5/5 if there were a couple of D Rings or attachment places on front shoulder straps, where hand straps could be added, if desired. Some of the cottage industry light backs have these, and they are great for hand placement on longer hikes to prevent hand/finger swelling. I normally use tracking polls when backpacking and those work, but do not use polls when rucking. Seems like an easy and cheap upgrade that might also allow you to sell separate hand straps for a couple bucks -plus, just a good feature add! Bonus for you. If you have such an upgrade, I’d be interested. Thanks! Jim

After using typical military-style ruck backpacks for years, I never thought rucking could be a comfortable experience. Then, I got a weight vest (up to 40 lbs), which made things easier, but more targeted on my neck and shoulders—an improvement from backpacks, but not ideal. I made the plunge for a real ruck as a birthday present for myself (after researching this one and offerings from GoRuck) and decided on Wild Gym because of the added edge for comfort. The advertisements explain those added details well, but from a user experience, once you get all of the straps and belts dialed in, this thing hugs you perfectly. The weight placement and overall design makes me look forward to the experience rather than dreading it. Posture and overall leg strength has improved over the first few trips, even with being already physically active. Also, I know it's a bit expensive for the full bundle, but I highly suggest getting the weight belt. All in all, highly recommended this ruck if you want a comfortable, very well built, and sleek experience.

Five stars. Love the Feather Ruck. It adjusts like my hiking backpack and carries the weight well. I can really fine tune how and where the weight fits. Plenty of room in the pouch and side pockets and the extra clip ons for the shoulder straps are just right. I have used the pack on about ten rucks and love it more each time!

This is the best ruckpack I've used so far. Keeps the weight close to your back, and has a very comfortable hip-belt which is vital to rucking (you don't want all the weight on your shoulders).

This is a fantastic ruck. I find it to be comfortable and it has really met my expectations. I have consistently rucked with it since receiving it and I would highly recommend it!
